Discovery & Strategy Workshop
A crash course in brand strategy via a half-day workshop will kick off our design process. During the workshop, we’ll gain insight into your target consumer and competitive landscape, build clear and compelling messaging, and determine the verbal identity and creative direction that best fits the brand, product, and your niche in the market.
Content & Copywriting
We’ll start with a review of your product portfolio to determine packaging and product architecture. Then, we’ll hone in on your verbal identity – developing focused key messaging, claims, instructions, and other supporting copy that informs consumers and helps differentiate your brand from competitors.
Creative Direction & Design
Then, design begins. We’ll focus first on layout and hierarchy of the packaging system, before moving onto the finer details like colors, fonts, and illustrations. Our packaging designers will explore multiple designs during this phase. We’ll always present design concepts using high fidelity mockups so you can get a sense for how the product will look in real life.
Prepress & Proofing
Once packaging artwork has been finalized, we’ll hand off all necessary design files. Your manufacturing partner will use the dielines provided to color match and test print the artwork before production begins. We’ll be available to coordinate and consult during this phase to ensure the proofs match our vision.
Production & Launch
While in production, our team will still be hard at work putting together your Brand Guidelines so that you have everything you need for launch. We can also get started on coordinating styled product photography, designing your custom e-commerce website, or developing digital and print materials to boost your marketing efforts as you hit the market.
